Key Stage 1
At Ashwood Park we follow the National Curriculum and are committed to teaching our children to foster a love for learning. The children are taught fundamental skills through all lessons, with a strong focus on Reading, Writing and Mathematics. We teach discrete lessons for the other subjects and welcome outside agencies and arrange offsite visits to further enhance our work.

Our Key Stage 1 is organised into three classes. Children have a large outdoor space to play which we share with Reception at lunchtimes and often if the weather is nice we have break time on the school field.
